Adventure-Ready Features of the 2023 Jeep® Gladiator

Where will you be headed in 2023? Wherever the road (or perhaps trail) takes you, you’ll need a vehicle prepared for anything, and this perfectly describes the 2023 Jeep® Gladiator. Read on to learn why we’re so excited about this new vehicle.
Excellent Power
The Jeep Gladiator is ready to climb mountains, as it comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The other engine option is a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 that puts out 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission, with an eight-speed automatic as an option. Four-wheel drive is standard.
Fantastic Off-Road Ability
If your adventure takes you onto some interesting terrain, the Jeep Gladiator will be able to handle it very nicely. High- and low-range gearing, skid plates, and solid front and rear axles are standard, and you will also enjoy 10 inches of ground clearance.
Even Better Off-Road Capability
While the standard Jeep Gladiator is a great off-roader, you can get further enhancements with the Rubicon trim. This comes with:
- An electronic sway bar disconnect
- Heavy-duty shock absorbers
- Locking front and rear differentials
- Rock rails
- 17-inch wheels
- 33-inch all-terrain tires
- Lower gearing
Great Towing and Hauling Capacity
If you will need to tow a trailer for your trip, the Jeep Gladiator can tow up to 7,700 pounds when properly equipped. You can also haul up to 1,710 pounds in the five-foot bed, which is a fantastic payload amount for the class. Plus, the tailgate can be locked in a halfway position.
