Power

The RAM 3500 comes with a 6.7-liter Cummins diesel inline-six engine that pumps out 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque. The available engine is also a 6.7-liter Cummins diesel inline-six engine, but in this one the horsepower climbs to 420 horsepower and the lb-ft torque goes all the way up to 1,075. 

The base engine comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel is paired with a six-speed automatic. Four-wheel drive is standard.

Off-Road Ability

Need to take your truck on rugged terrain? The RAM 3500 will accommodate you. The Power Wagon model comes with electronic locking front and rear differentials, a 360-degree camera, and an off-road suspension system with disconnecting sway bars. 

Towing and Hauling

You won’t find a full-size pickup truck with better towing ability than the RAM 3500. It can tow an astounding 37,100 pounds when properly equipped. Plus, you’ll be able to haul up to 7,680 pounds. Two bed lengths are available: six-foot-four-inch bed or eight-foot.

Interior

Depending on which cab you go with, the RAM 3500 can comfortably fit up to six people. Vinyl upholstery is standard in this RAM truck, but leather is also available. You can also add heated and ventilated front seats. 

As for tech, every model has Bluetooth® and push-button start. If you’re looking for more, you can get Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and a 17-speaker Harmon Kardon stereo. 

Safety
